The Manitoba government has placed a moratorium on pig farms; no new pig farms can be built in Manitob.
This is what some Manitoban think of the government action.

I don't know why. My guess is it somehow promotes the government's position (to secure their position, make them richer, ...); why else do governments do what they do?
That is weird
They claim it has to do with the environment and the water tables etc....
At least that was the last thing I had heard.
